Meet your Diocese of Austin young adult representatives
Director of Young Adult, Diocese of Austin
Austin, TX
Jocelyn grew up in Round Rock, TX and was a parishioner at St. William Catholic Church prior to attending UT-Austin. She later served as a FOCUS missionary and 5 years in campus ministry at UT. She is currently a parishioner at Saint Mary Cathedral in downtown Austin and looks forward to connecting with the young adults of central Texas!

Sacred Heart Catholic Church, La Grange
Fr. Chris grew up in College Station, TX and was ordained a priest for the Diocese of Austin in 2020. He served with NET ministries for 3 years after graduating from Texas A&M and he accompanies FOCUS missionaries throughout the year in different ways. Fr Chris is very excited to serve the young adults of Central Texas! He currently serves as the administrator of Sacred Heart parish in La Grange.

Created to Create: Creating Beauty, Encountering the Divine
Join us St. Mary’s Catholic Church O’Reilly Building for an afternoon of encountering the divine. Inspired by Pope St. John Paul II’s theology of beauty, we will listen to a reflection while painting an image of the sacred heart. This sip and paint event will include light horderves and refreshments. Bring a beverage to share!
