Meet your Diocese of Austin young adult representatives
Director of Young Adult, Diocese of Austin
Austin, TX
Jocelyn grew up in Round Rock, TX and was a parishioner at St. William Catholic Church prior to attending UT-Austin. She later served as a FOCUS missionary and 5 years in campus ministry at UT. She is currently a parishioner at Saint Mary Cathedral in downtown Austin and looks forward to connecting with the young adults of central Texas!

Sacred Heart Catholic Church, La Grange
Fr. Chris grew up in College Station, TX and was ordained a priest for the Diocese of Austin in 2020. He served with NET ministries for 3 years after graduating from Texas A&M and he accompanies FOCUS missionaries throughout the year in different ways. Fr Chris is very excited to serve the young adults of Central Texas! He currently serves as the administrator of Sacred Heart parish in La Grange.

Austin Catholic Young Adult Pickleball Social & Tournament
Join Young Catholic Professionals and Central Texas Catholic for an afternoon of pickleball, community, and connection with young adults from across the Diocese.
Whether you’ve never picked up a paddle or play every weekend, this event is designed for all experience and skill levels. We’ll have both open play courts and tournament-style games available throughout the afternoon so everyone can participate at their own pace.
Young Adults & Pottery Painting
Join young adults across the southeast region of the Diocese of Austin for an afternoon at Pax Cristi Retreat Center in Brenham, TX. Pottery painting prices vary per item. Join us afterwards for a dinner social at 30 North in Brenham.
Painted Churches Tour
Central Texas Catholics in the Bryan | College Station, Southeast, and San Marcos regions are invited for a half-day tour through the Schulenburg painted churches! We will begin at Sacred Heart Catholic Church for a brief orientation and breakfast followed by a series of churches. We will conclude with a lunch social and the Shiner Brewery.
Catholic Night at the Round Rock Express
Join the Diocese of Austin and other young adults for a summer baseball game cheering on the Round Rock Express! Discounted tickets are available with code, “CATHOLIC” in sections 112 & 113.
